Not Know is Why We Learn

Education is a drowning field. I sympathize with all teachers and professors. There are a number of ways we can improve this process that is wading in the middle of a sea waiting for rescue.

I’ll go into that tomorrow.

Have a wonderful Harry Potter filled evening everyone.

Dreamscape

Dream Number 1:

  • This dream was set in the future. A son’s maid was killed by a bow and arrow. The blood spills out into the shape of a heart on the blouse of the maiden woman. This is the first episode of Medieval: 2023. A show set after WWIII when we’ve destroyed technology and weapons. I’ll go further into detail another time, as for now this is all you get. TNT or USA will hopefully pick it up.

Dream Number 2.5:

  • I was attending the church of the penta-pentacles. Basically dicks everywhere. Also, I was locked up in a mental institution… wonder where that came from… While I was there I flipped out and I started breaking shit and yelling at people because I was so ready to go. I wasn’t leaving because I had been over-participating. Bull. Shit. Anyways, when I finally got out I tried stopping a robber and got shot to death, since this was like a video game I was able to start that day over. Also there was a black bitch that changed the station during a show about climbing up a wall with two people and poles. The new day I saw somebody give away two free watches that related to Star Wars. Then I told four people that I only talked about Star Wars so I could have more friends. They were singing because crocodiles were under the porch and were listening to the music. I gave them stuffed animals. And their dogs too, but I was two short. This was my dream.

Now you should subscribe… Reasons as follows!

  1. It’s kind of funny!
  2. It’s going to be constantly updated!
  3. You’re my friend and you “care” about me!
  4. I ran out of reasons.
  5. Don’t talk about Fight Club!

Free Shroom With Kevin

I’m going to blog while I get inebriated from this drug. It totally tasted like popcorn.

I found the perfect room… music, lights, and people. Here we go.

Colors look more vibrant and my appendages begin to seperate themselves from my body. Everything starts to tingle.

There’s a universal beating. A worldly ebbing and flowing that want to pick me up ass child. I’ve moved to a much more compfortable gray couch. I am a being to this universe.

Maurine the MILF

So I debated whether or not to be secretive about my sexual exploitations. Should I heed the Zuckerburg warning and keep gossip about the ladies off the grid? Lets just say, on many levels, duck that.

Maurine was hot, experienced, and 51. She told me how big I was when I was in 7 inches deep.

We sat with Vinny as the THC worked its was through our beating bodies. I ran my fingers upher thighs and slow started caressing the sensitive precepice between her legs. I pulled her pants down at the table and went down in her while she was sitting in a rustic wooden chair. She smiled down on me like a creator to its child. I took her hand and we went to the front room…

We stripped down and she got on her knees and faced her smooth ass towards my longing cock. I pressed deep inside her. She welcomed me with a wet entrance. She’s had multiple kids and her pussy was still teenager tight. She was petite. Perfect. We fucked in this position for a while. She came and I waited in anticipation. Then she went down on me, but a few mintiest later I knew wasn’t going to be enough.

On to number two. I let her ride this cowboy. I put a snake in her boot. Hopefully no one will poison the water hole. Also, I gave her a Woody and took her to infinity and beyond. I finally came when I picked her up and slammed her hard over and over again. Faster and faster. We came at the same time. And she just kept coming as long as I was inside of her.

Third time was me on top. The boring normal fuck. So I’ll wrap things up.

God bless.

I hope to get the job. It will be good.

Life is good.

Long Overdue

Last semester I received a parking ticket for not having a “Valid Permit”. I had already paid for a permit and I simply had used the Temporary Permit too long… okay for like 10 days too long. But of course I felt this citation was unjust! $35 unjust to be exact.

I’ll let my transcribed appeal complete my point of view on the subject matter.

“I could say that I didn’t have my permit yet due to the post office’s error, but that would be dishonest. In my defense, and as my defense, I am a college student. A busy, poor, forgetful, college student. But, I am an adult. I recognize that and will face the consequences of my action if you so decide. However, this institution I am appealing to is Parking Services. Not Parking Enforcement. While issuing citations is an essential foundation of order, an option of a warning in some cases would be more socially acceptable. For example; a busy, poor, forgetful college student has non-maliciously delayed in applying his… [Check if continued on back (check)] …proper permit. A warning of this potential citation meriting action would relieve stress from said college student and help build his individual relationship with Parking Services. While I don’t have a strong case, I have a strong heart, that will be unfortunately broken if my reasonable requests are shot down. Dreams aren’t meant to be crushed. P.S. My sticker is now on my windshield.”

I ended up having to pay the parking ticket.

Performance Art

Flash mobs.

Improv Everywhere.

Guerrilla theater.

Whatever you would like to label it, it’s becoming more and more popular. Charlie Todd is one of the considerable ‘founding fathers’ of this subculture. And I mean subculture when I say this. Groups of similar intents have popped up over all over the nation within the past five years.

Even Oprah Winfrey supports flash mobs after 20,000 synchronized dancers crashed her season premiere with the Black Eyed Peas.

There are however two radically varying philosophies behind the structure of this type of entertainment.

Shock.

The “let’s freak people out” approach.

A malicious undertone is unavoidable with this mindset; concern for the well being of those witnessing the event is disregarded.

And of course,

Awe.

“…spectacular displays of force…” -from the militaristic definition of Shock and Awe

A broad definition, but the force in this analogy is the power of unity between any number of people.

Having a simultaneous shared experience is spectacular on any level.

Stopping people in their tracks to witness something not simply out of the ordinary, but breathtaking. Heart-stopping.

Creating spontaneous joy shared by both audience and performer.

And as you can tell, my personal opinion about the two approaches is a bit biased.

Ultimately, comedic public performance art has yet to reach it’s peak in today’s society. Within another five years we’ll see a bi-annual convention for this subculture that will start in New York of course. Maybe.

We’ll see.

Blog Experiment - Housing and Residence Life

Claudia Beeny, the keynote speaker during the Fall 2009 Residence Life Training at UNT, talked about the opportunities we have while in the position of being a Resident Assistant.

“An internship in leadership.”

With this once in a lifetime ‘internship’ we have a reasonable amount of freedom to push the envelope of innovation to see what works and doesn’t work.

This has stuck out in my mind over the past semester and I feel that it relates to a change I’ll be implementing with the RTVF/Jour. REAL Community.

No more flyers. No more paper.

Over the next week I will be preparing the residents of the community to participate in this endeavor by explaining to them where programs and other vital information will be posted.

Online. On a blog. Paperless.

As simple as this change may seem, it will require an initial amount of extra effort on my end. There are a number of benefits that are however foreseen.

Benefits

  • Coincide with and encourage UNT’s plan of ‘going green’
  • Quickly and efficiently funnel pertinent information to residents
  • Inspire others

Potential Negative Repercussion

  • Loss of attendance during programs

Preventative Measures and Implementation

  • Tell residents during safety checks
    • Encourage them to set the blog as their homepage
    • Explain that most browsers allow you to set multiple homepages
  • Explain change during mandatory wing meeting
    • Describe RSS Feeds to allow automatically updating embedding
  • Take the time to make posts entertaining to increase retention

The benefits will eventually drastically outweigh the initial amount of time taken to ensure the success of this change.

Farewell 2009

To say goodbye to 2009, I’ll start a blog and allow 2010 to roll on in.

I’ll give you the run down for what happened during 2009 as I can remember.

School at UNT

I took Film History from 1945, Intro to RTVF Writing, Video Production, Film and Television Analysis, Film Styles, History of the Documentary, Advanced Video Production, and Advanced Screenwriting.

The latter part of the year has been significantly more productive in relation to school work. I learned things that I’ll take with me to my professional life, I was inspired by most of my professors, and I have creative products that I can show people and finally be proud of.

Out Of Order

UNT Freeze was the ‘first’ event that Out Of Order organized. With over 4,000 people invited online and over 200 people showing up it was unbelievably successful. This helped lay the foundation for future events.

Zombies VS Humans became a behemoth of collaboration in all aspects of the term and even on many administrative levels at UNT. 12 cameras, 4 survivors, over 100 zombies, a 20 person crew, weeks of planning, local business sponsorship, permission and access to film from 2 roofs and a clock tower, and now over 3,500 views.

Thought For Food

We went to our first competition in Austin, TX. We lost, but we learned and had a hell of a time.

We opened for Billy Washington in front of our largest audience yet! It may have been bias from our fans, but we were told that we were funnier than Mr. Washington afterwards.

‘An Improvised Christmas Carol’ was the best improv we have ever done. 1 hour and 15 minutes of pure hilarity.

Savage and the Big Beat

Max Brown and Ryan Cortez entered the Denton music scene with a mighty fist as the keyboardist-drummer duo Savage and the Big Beat.

As an avid fan of their work I worked with them to make their first music video for their song A Love Most Horrid.

It took three days of filming, $200 of props and costumes, and a small but dedicated crew. A budget!? I know, unheard of.

Underground DodgeBall League

We competed in the Rec Sports tournament again. And lost. Again. Two of our teams even got screwed over before they got to play by the Rec Sports office due to the office’s miscommunication.

The Spring saw a decline and it looked fairly grim for UDBL, but the Fall brought new hope and a sustained equilibrium of dodgeball advocates.

We actually have girls that play on a regular basis! Yay for co-ed-ness!

RTVF REAL Community

I’ll keep this short and sweet. During the end of the year evaluation of the work of an RA you get rated in a number of categories on a scale of 1-5. 1 = you’ll probably be fired soon, 2 = you’re lacking something, but can change, 3 = you’re doing your job exactly as you’re supposed to, 4 = you’re going above and beyond, 5 = … no one ever gets a 5 in a category. In relation to programming for the residents… I got a 5. I’m not sure if I truly deserved that, but they did tally it up to 20 programs in 15 weeks. Programs that averaged about 20 people each.

So it wasn’t that short, but it’s been so much fun and I’ve made countless connections because of it.

Back to me now…

So that’s what has happened of significance in my life. I will continue to update this blog with things I find interesting, things I write, and of course… cute pictures of puppies.

Regards,

Kevin Larz
